Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report Schedule Holiday Release Schedule The standard release time and day of the week will be at 10:30 a.m. (Eastern time) on Thursdays with the following exceptions. Working gas in storage was 2,343 Bcf as of Friday, February 14, 2020, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decrease of 151 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 613 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 200 Bcf above the five-year average of 2,143 Bcf. At 2,343 Bcf, total working gas is within the five-year historical range.
If we find a large difference between the two series, we may re-benchmark the weekly production estimate on weeks when we release STEO. This week’s domestic crude oil production estimate incorporates a re-benchmarking that affected estimated volumes by less than 50,000 barrels per day, which is about 0.3% of this week’s estimated production total.
